No. Scans run in the background via WordPress cron and never execute during a visitor page load. A configurable delay between requests also keeps external servers happy.
Any URL that returns an HTTP 4xx or 5xx response, or that fails to connect at all (timeout, DNS failure, etc.). Links are checked with a fast HEAD request, falling back to GET when needed.
Yes. Add the post type slug to the "Post Types to Scan" setting, e.g. post, page, product. Any registered post type is supported.
Some links (members-only pages, sites that block bots) report as broken even though they work. Mark them as Ignored and they will be suppressed from your results without being deleted.
